Nolan has 17 years of NFL experience after failing to make the jump to the NFL as a defensive back in 1981. Starting as an assistant with the Broncos in 1987, Nolan has moved steadily upward, and has three stints as an NFL defensive coordinator with Baltimore, New York Giants, Washington Redskins, and the New York Jets. Nolan has also coached defensive backs at Stanford, Utah, and LSU, in addition to some time as WR coach for the Ravens. |
