FA QB Carr leaves 49ers complex w/o contract

So much for free agent QB David Carr signing on to be the Niners backup quarterback. The two sides hit a snag in their negotiations and Carr left the complex without even speaking to reporters, which he had been scheduled to do as of last night.

The talks between his agent and the 49ers aren't officially dead yet, and Carr certainly doesn't have to be present for them, but it's unusual for a player to blow off the media in these situations. Maybe Carr got wind of some negative comments LB Patrick Willis made about him on Twitter and it soured him on the 49ers, but that's pure speculation.
