Aldon Smith is back with the 49ers.
The All-Pro pass rusher had been absent since Week 3's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, which came just two days after his arrest for suspicion of DUI when he reportedly crashed his car into a neighbors yard around 7 a.m. Sept. 20.
Smith, charged with three felony counts of weapons possession Oct. 9, reportedly turned himself into authorities Tuesday and posted bail at Santa Clara County Superior Court. Those charges stem from a party at his house in the Summer of 2012.
Jim Harbaugh told 95.7 The Game in San Francisco Smith had met with team officials Wednesday at the team's facility.
The 49ers have reeled off five-straight double-digit wins since Smith left the team to tend to his personal issues at a treatment facility. Smith had registered five quarterback sacks in his three games according to Pro Football Focus.
San Francisco released wide receiver Marlon Moore Wednesday opening up a spot on the 53-man roster. The move was originally believed to coincide with the return of wideout Mario Manningham, who will likely join the roster before next Tuesday to play against the Carolina Panthers following the team's bye.
