Moody played four seasons, amassing 155 total tackles, six for loss and two sacks.
San Francisco took quarterback B.J. Daniels from South Florida in the seventh round (No. 237 overall). Daniels red shirted in his first season with Bulls and threw for 8,433 yards and 52 touchdowns. He registered a career 128.2 passer rating. He also ran for over 2,000 yards and scored 25 touchdowns.
Although Daniels fits the mold of the new age mobile quarterback, he will have a hard time making the roster. But with a good training camp, he could earn a place on the practice squad.
The former tight end has a chance to make the roster and and back up both tackle positions.
The 49ers finished their 11-player draft by selecting corner Marcus Cooper of Rutgers. At 6-2, Cooper possess the height that is becoming popular in the NFL. He ran well at the combine, posting a 4.45 in the 40-yard dash but still has to work on his technique if he wants a roster spot.
