Seattle Seahawks
2013 draft picks:
2nd round (56), 3(87), 4(123), 5(138, 158), 6(194), 7 (220, 231, 241, 242)

No doubt that the Seahawks are an up and coming team under the guidance of coach Pete Carroll. He struck gold this time last year by grabbing quarterback Russell Wilson in the third round. Wilson didn't play like a normal rookie and led the Seahawks into the playoffs after performing so well in his first season at the helm.

Seattle made a bold move prior to free agency in trading with Minnesota for wide receiver Percy Harvin, one of the elite playmakers in the NFL. If Harvin can stay healthy he gives the Seahawks a big time threat at the receiver position and in the kick return game. The trade was at a cost, as Seattle gave up this year's first round pick to the Vikings, as well as a 7th rounder and a mid-round pick in 2014. This dynamic player should be worth it.

Defensively, Seattle got aggressive in free agency, particularly on their defensive front where they added pass rushers in Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett. Bennett is the more well-rounded of the two while Avril should be a gem against the pass.

Needs
1. Offensive Line
The Seahawks need to upgrade the right tackle spot on their offensive front. They may have to wait until the 56th pick overall to do just that. The Seahawks would love to have Menelik Watson slide to that spot but he should be long gone. Another possibility is Terron Armstead but he could be drafted earlier. Under Carroll the Seahawks have shown that if they like a guy they will grab him earlier than many project. Other right tackle prospects to watch for are Reid Fragel, Jordan Mills, Xavier Nixon and Ricky Wagner that Seattle could grab in the mid-to-late part of the draft.

Seattle would also like to draft a guard at some point during the draft. Alvin Bailey, Hugh Thornton and Travis Bond are a trio of names to look for.

2. Defensive Tackle
This is another position Seattle should address. But without a first round selection they will have to see who's available when it's their turn. Kawaan Short is a name that could slide to their first selection. If they elect to wait it out, keep an eye on d-tackle Akeem Spence, Bennie Logan, Everett Dawkins and Josh Boyd. A sleeper to watch for is a Canadian defensive tackle named Stefan Charles from Regina. He looked very good at a NFL Combine in Tampa I was at last month and he recently met with the Seahawks.

3. Linebacker
You know Carroll and company would love to add another speedy linebacker to their outstanding defense. Khaseem Greene, Sio Moore, Sean Porter and Jelani Jenkins are all fast playmakers at this position.

4. Wide Receiver
It would be real interesting to see just how productive Harvin would be playing with a legit No. 1 receiver. He didn't have it in Minnesota and there really isn't one yet in Seattle. Which begs the question – does Seattle try and find one in this draft? There is certainly talent at this position and potential No. 1 type of wideouts out there like Da'Rick Rogers, Justin Hunter, and Terrence Williams.
