Former Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Rex Hadnot has signed a one-year contract with the San Diego Chargers. Hadnot, 30 was cut primarily for salary-cap purposes as he carried a $2.65 million salary-cap figure and was scheduled to make a $1.5 million base salary.

The 6-foot-2, 310-pounder started every game last season for the Cardinals. He's also expected to draw interest from other NFL teams looking for a versatile interior lineman.

He has previous stints with the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins and has started 93 of 114 career games.
